I've Got Mail

On monday, May 28th 2012, when I were in bed cause of alergic attack, my father kindly went to post office to picked-up a package for me without my knowing. And just yesterday he handed the package and said sorry cause he forgot to deliver it to me *ooohhhh Daaddd - huugg - thank you so much*

It is my first independent artisan ceramic beads that I bought early of May. It's directly sent by Birgitta of Angel Whisperer from Sweden. Waaa! My first artisan from Europe! I'm interesting on her beads because of her new ceramic kiln which is claim eco friendly from Rhode made in Germany. My eyes always fixed on supplies which have ECO FRIENDLY label. It's always succeed to gain attention from me, plus SALE of course *giggling*. It's kind of habit for me to look for something eco friendly, cause almost every week I meet with scavenger glasses for my raw materials glass bead rods. And begin this month *May* me and some my new beadmen will pick-up the waste shells from the fish auction market on Kenjeran beach *local beach* we try to make the shells become beads supplies *sippiriily*

Back again to my brand new ceramic beads. Once opened, a treasure is revealed. Here what I got from Birgitta *huuggg* cause I got the bonus from her too *smile* Quite happy with the beads. And my favorite is her Hedgehog bead. It's so deadly cute.

But...I have already get inspire by the matte yellow ceramic pendant for my next blog hop that I follow. The blog hop will be host by Jennifer Cameron of AJE. She post photo below as our inspiration to create.

Back Again...

Last week was really body battle for me. Since I was a child I got my first alergic for eggs and chickens. So from there, I can't enjoy those two delicious side dish frequently. And just last week, I added new list for my alergic. This time for all kind of seafood *aaarrrrrrchhhhhh* It has been 2 weeks I only ate rice with vegetables stir plus fried tempe (Indonesian tradition food from  soy beans) and tofu. Almost similar to vegetarian food.
Fried Tempe and Tofu (Tahu)
But it's ok now...
I checked my online store last night, and found a lot of inbox. And now I'm checking my blog....wow...lots of posts interisting to read. One of them is Karolen's post about her new discovering bead style. Not so many *as I recall* independen lampwork beads artisan would share their new discover. So she quite surprise me with the details. Check here for her post. I have marked her shop at Etsy as my fav cause I plan to buy some of her pieces for collection.

Cocktail Hour Blog Hop Reveal

I know it's already too late to hoop, but I won't cancel my partisipasion for this challange. This morning I'm quite better than yesterday, so I decide to take some shoot. The pictures are not my best shoot, but I hope the piece *necklace* can represent my PINK PANTHER COCKTAIL.

I make only one piece of necklace for this hope. I tried to capture the gradation of pink and the melting ice rock, which gave the pink color more soft. Here my piece...

The ingredients used for the necklace :
Round yellow glass bead from Manik Jawa
Leaves glass beads from Manik Jawa
Large hole clay bead with rhinestones
Pink & transparent elastic string
Cherry Quartz gemstone chips
Black tiny round jade gemstone
4mm bicone swarovski bead crystal AB

Here the pendant, which I made from yellow round glass bead and leaf beads, combined with bicone crystal AB. At the top there are two large hole clay beads to give sparkle.
The close-up

At the front-line, I combine between elastic string and cherry quartz chips.  For the elastic string, I braid them first. I love the combination on the pink and transparant elastic string.

I use tiny black jade to cover-up the connection between front-line and back-line.

And here the back-line, combination between elastic string and gold chain. I'm not using clasp.

Well...there is my piece for the Cocktail Hour Blog Hop and I think I have included all colors element on my Pink Panther Cocktail into my yummy necklace. Hope you like it *cross-my-fingers*

Flower Arranging

Perhaps many of you have already known that Gwyneth Paltrow host a website name goop but as for me, I just found it couple days ago. And I'm in love with it. Simple but cute and chic. It's about women mostly...about house...about kids...
I'm not fancy on her, but it seem that she is quite clean and really nice person. And I like the way she name her children, shown that she quite honest and unique person too.

And this time she talked about flower arranging. I love flowers although my husband is not so kind to bring it home frequently just for me , but at least once he bough me *kaahhh* I have already prepare a space for flower arrangement of my own, but I get trouble to find perfect moment to start it. And just today I bump with this article by gp. She talked a lot about vases of different shapes and sizes and tell what flowers to arrange in them and how. And this one is my fave...

You'll find a lot of new ways how to deal with your vases collection. Just open up your cupboards and examine what you have in stock, then get back here, READ diligent this article and then set your self with the challenge of making arrangement for your vase with flowers which are fit into it.

Now...time to search some vases.
As I am online now, Etsy is the better place to find out right.

It has been two month just like this. Wake-up...kitties feed-up...office...office-off...hommy woman...kitties dinner...tv tune...beads and stuff...gone with the bed every 2AM. It's daily activity of mine. Quite borring actually. So this morning when I gone to office, I bring-along my Canon and took snap picture.

Now...here I am, sit on the office chair, stealing some times to post this picture. But then I look at the clock on my right and the hour is time to working on my tax and I think that I'll wait another day to post some more pictures. Perhaps tomorrow?

Ohh...just to let you know...Manik Jawa dear customers, on sunday I just finished to take pictures some new beads. Tonight I'll do my homework to price them all *wink* sometimes between 10 May to 11 May will listing new items. I'll do my best *fighting*

Leather Curtain & Tie-Back Tutorial

I found this useful tutorial finally.
I really have serious problem with my curtain and my kitties *four of them* Thanks a lot Jen.

My Bead Swap *Finally*

On saturday night, I found a package on my desk. Little glimpse at the package cause I were in the hell of tired. Though it just usually package like the others...D. Millard?!?...hmm...aaahhh...the package which I have been waiting for. I graped it fast.

whhooaallllaaahhh....
There were two small pack with bubble plastic wrap. I opened the slim one.
Ohh...I was so 'jump' in surprise. So this is it...my first lampwork bead from abroad *cause I never buy any lampwork beads from international independent artisan* Thank you so much Donna. She strung her lampwork together with swarovsky *I presume* and add bead cap...turn it became a beautiful pendant *wwuuuaahhh*

And the fat one is...glass beads with chrismas theme. I love the snow beads. I saw snow beads for the first time was belongs to Laura Sparling. Simple clear white, fresh and looks crispy to me *lol* I can imagine that these beads would be great for christmassy winter design.

Once again...thanks Donna Millard. Finally I can touch lampwork beads from international independent artisan. And please don't worry...me and my beadmen are not that kind of copycat people. Your lampwork beads save with us *peace...love...friendship*

Ambon Manise

So aku namakan kalung ini Ambon Manise.
Cerita dibalik Ambon Manise

My Stash

I need to dig up my stash for my new challange with Amy of Copper Diem cause as my recall, I rarely collect something with pink colors. I never thought that it'll be so much stash that I haven't touch almost two months since I moved to new house. I went to mini warehouse at the very back small yard. My kitties follow me as usual. And they started rolling bolsters fighting in dirty floor...cats fighting...

And now what I got from saturday dig up morning with my mini warehouse. One full box of java beads and some cord plus elastic string in colors he he he I think I have found my yellow needing beads. Looking for some black stash too...

Now...I'm doing some sketch for the design. This moment, I only have bracelet in my head hhhmmm...
