Ohhh..lovely MONDAY!

This morning I got lots of surprise! And thanks God all of them are nice and beautiful. First my friend who live in South Korea back home with tons of goodies *wow* he handed me a big box of magazines and one complite series of The X-Files season 3. I get to prepare my self stay-up for The X-Files reunion. 

And about tea time around 10.00AM the post officer came brough me a package from CANADA! YEESSS! It's from Jo-Ann *big smile* Curios?!? Here the beads she choose for me base on Pantone Fall/Winter colors trend.

She wrap the package so so neatly. And I love the greeting card she sent for me.

Quite old actually for me for something like this *giggling* but I can't help it to falling this old comedy drama from Korea - The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince - powerful chemistry between the two leading actor - Yoon Eun Hye and Gong Yoo - make this drama just like watching two people falling in love in real life. And the important is...this drama succeed to make me L.O.L from 1st episode 'til the last. Thanks you for drawing a rainbow over my stuck mind for these couple days.

I Heart Macro : BSBP 3rd Reveal Part 02

I received my 2nd bead soup from Tanya on Aug 28th, last week. The party is offer now, but still I have the spirit to create for the party. And I hope you all, bead soup folks, will enjoy the soup that I will serve about minutes next. But first, let me recall what I have received from Tanya last okay...here they are...

For this part 2 (cause I will have the part 3), I focused on the special brass goddess toogle that handmade by Tanya herself. The toogle and the clasp is strong enough to hold big design of jewelry. So I think it will be waste the toogle if I make bracelet. I used Japa Mala beads too to give natural looks. 

So I made "Sublime Wisdom" necklace...

Sneak Peek

Create something with time limit is really stressful. Stress is for sure but when I finished the project one by one, I'm so so happy to see it. For this week, from wednesday to sunday I 'must' (speek to myself) finish my soup from Tanya. She sent me mysterius beads call Japa Mala. I though after saw it, it just ordinary pray wood beads which coated with yellow color. The ordinary yellow coating color turns out to be 24 carats gold *w.o.w* precious beads. Tanya suggest me to give the beads white clear coat to protect the gold. I'm thinking about clear nail hardener, is it ok? Suggestion please...

Here sneak peek what I did with the Japa Mala + special goddest toogle

I've been focusing a lot on seed beads recently. I adore this beads, but this beads quite difficult to design, so must waiting for the right one. And for this bead soup challange Tanya sent me 1 full strand of 8mm round denim lapis and I want to make something using beading technique. First in my mind is tassel! This will be the first time I make tassel. Here the photo progress...

And the last, I decide that it is time to tackle the last of my soup bead - silver bead caps - mostly bead caps are half round, mine are square *dink* quite difficult to find the perfect and match beads for the caps. But I did it *smile*

This morning I received the package from Tanya w.o.w when I saw the beads, those are quite difficult to play *garok garok kepala* About 3 hour I tried to make a design and then changed it cause too 'rigid' he he he I think I need a bit time to play with the beads. Ohhh...almost forget, here the soup that I received today...

Thanks a lot to Tanya and Solange *big hug* I'll do my best to turn those beads, specially the toogle and clasp, into something special *promise*

BSBP 3rd Reveal - Aug 25th 2012 - Part 1

Finally...

The final reveal of Bead Soup Blog Party on the air. Time for me to show-off my design. It's quite sad story actually for me, cause I lost my bead soup when it on the way to my home address. My partner Solange Collin sent me very awesome, beautiful, yummy beads soup.

But when the package arrived to my address, I only found these two vintage west africa glass beads :

So...here I am trying my best to turn these two beads into focal bead and toogle (cause the main requirement for this party is using the focal and toogle clasp). I hope Solange will love the way I turned her unique beads into pendant and necklace.
